The best meeting place during the championship
The best meeting place during the Ski World Championship can be found at Krigsseilerplassen, right in the heart of Trondheim. You won’t find a more central location or a better atmosphere during the championship. By purchasing a table or ticket, you’re guaranteed a spot. Skip the lines and bring colleagues and clients to reserved seating that’s ready for you. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by hosts who will guide you to your table, and the evening can begin!
We serve local food and drinks from the region. Here, you’ll enjoy the best the region’s food and beverage! We’ve created an exciting menu with dishes perfect for the World Championship celebration.
Many exciting artists will take the stage from early in the day until late into the night. With hundreds of seats available, we guarantee top-notch after ski vibes from the moment the doors open.
We’ll show the competitions from Granåsen on big screens inside the tent. Experience all the action from the ski arena!

Local food from the region
We collaborate with a range of local food producers from southern Trøndelag. This region offers an abundance of high-quality ingredients. At Gauldalstunet, we have developed a unique menu featuring ingredients from this region. Learn more about the regions and their producers here.
Melhus
Melhus is located right south of Trondheim. In this municipality, there is a wide variety of different food producers. Here, you’ll find lamb, deer, pork, beef, honey, vegetables, and wild plants. One of the producers from Melhus is a wild farmer who forage wild plants and herbs from the region. Many of these products are featured on our menu.
Midtre Gauldal and Holtålen
Midtre Gauldal and Holtålen municipalities are located along the salmon river Gaula. Here, you'll find a local brewery, a traditional bakery from 1930, products made from salmon and moose, and a mountain hotel that serves dishes based on locally sourced ingredients. The brewery, Hognabrygg is one of the suppliers of local beer in our menu. Give it a try!
Røros
The mountain town of Røros is known for its mining history and reindeer herding. This is a popular tourist destination for a good reason. The region offers food with strong traditions and high quality. At Gauldalstunet, you can taste dairy products, reindeer meat, beef, flatbread, whitefish, mineral water, and craft beer from this fantastic food region.
